Building Confidence for Schools, Academies & Colleges:  Pupils & Students

Facing, Challenging & Overcoming Fears

[Snake handling for Overcoming Fears & Building Confidence & Self-Esteem in Pupils/Students] Meet The Beasts Empowers Pupils & Students of All Ages to Overcome Their Fears, Grow in Confidence, Improve Social & Communication Skills, in a Safe, Relaxed & Non-Threatening Setting.

Children conquering fears grow in confidence, enabling them to face & take on new (& old) challenges.

They also develop key interpersonal skills such as language & communication

... & they continue to talk about us long after we've gone!

We know that our animals are likely to cause a strong reaction, both from experience & from a survey by Time Magazine which highlighted the fear of bugs, creepy crawlies & spiders as our No 3 worst fear (a fear of death was No 7).

But we also KNOW that our safe, proven, hands-on activities produce rapid, tangible, often spectacular results (read our case histories).

"The difference between Meet The Beasts & other companies we've had is that you bond immediately with the children, relate on their level, hold their interest & leave them buzzing with a sense of achievement. We will be asking you back."

Teacher; Broadfields Primary School, Edgware, London

Our sessions compliment & enhance the EYFS objectives in primary schools & the National Curriculum, so even if we are doing a science, biology or psychology-based presentation, your pupils/students will still be able to work through their fears, challenge them, overcome them & grow in confidence.

We work with groups & where applicable, one-to-one.

We have wide experience working with children & young people:

Each session is tailored to the needs, age & ability of our audience & is highly effective, regardless of 'academic ability' of attendees.

In Short, Our Activities Are Relevant & Applicable to ALL Children & Students.

"Wow! What a day. There have been some miracles today as the least likely children have run up & told me they've handled a snake. Great service with real sensitivity. We loved the way you worked at each individual child's pace. Thank you so much."

Teacher; Gateway Primary School, Westminster, London
